Puff Pastry Danish Flower Vegetarian
Ingredients -
1 package of filo dough
Pesto
Goat cheese
Cherry tomatoes
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Defrost 1 package of filo dough in the refrigerator overnight.
2. Preheat the oven to 360F.
3. Cut the Filo dough into ~6 inch squares. In each corner of the square, cut an L shaped slice, and be sure they don't connect with the adjacent slices. There should be about a 1 inch border resulting from each slice.
4. In the center of the square, add 1 tsp pesto, a small slice of goat cheese, and ½ a cherry tomato.
5. Pinch the corner of opposite borders and pinch them atop the cherry tomato. Then, connect the other two creating a flower petal design with the filo dough.
6. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
